The Subversive Leadership Ecosystem

Work with Dr. Latisha.

Organizational consulting, program development, speaking, and executive advisory.

I work with leaders and organizations on how people develop, how programs work, and how institutions change. My approach brings together education, social work, nonprofit leadership, and the Subversive Leadership framework.

The work is practical: clarify what needs to change, understand the conditions shaping it, and develop an approach that respects the people doing the work.

Direct engagement

Four ways to work together.

These services can be engaged independently of a Zmara subscription.

01

Organizational consulting

For leaders working on team culture, leadership development, or alignment across teams and agencies.

We examine what people are being asked to do, what conditions support or undermine that work, and where expectations or responsibilities need to become clearer.

Areas of focus: Team culture · Leadership development · Cross-agency alignment · Organizational change

02

Education and youth program development

For organizations creating or improving programs that help young people learn, grow, and access opportunities.

I help you work out who the program serves, what participants will experience, how staff will deliver it, and how you’ll know it’s working—from the initial idea through launch or redesign.

Areas of focus: Purpose · Design · Launch · Implementation · Growth

03

Speaking and facilitation

For organizations bringing people together to examine leadership, equity, and institutional change.

Talks and facilitated sessions make room for people to connect the Subversive Leadership framework to the decisions and conditions they face in their own work.

Areas of focus: Subversive Leadership · Equity · Changing institutions from within

For nonprofit leaders, founders, and emerging executives underserved by traditional leadership development.

Experience and approach

Practice, research, and the work of change.

My work spans education, social work, and nonprofit leadership. I have worked as a practitioner, researcher, and executive, developing professionals and building teams while holding institutions accountable to the people they are meant to serve.

I hold an EdD and an MSW, and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. My doctoral research examines how leaders challenge the structures that reproduce inequity from within.

The Subversive Leadership framework brings that scholarship into practical questions: what needs to change, whose knowledge shapes the work, and how can people act without being asked to leave their identities or communities at the door?

Meet Dr. Latisha and explore the research

Start with the real work

We clarify the need, the people involved, and the conditions around the challenge.

Respect the people doing it

Approaches account for the people served and the teams responsible for delivery.

Connect practice to framework

Subversive Leadership offers a way to examine inequity and act within institutions.

A clear first step

Start with the work you need to do.

Tell me what you are working on, who is involved, and the timing you have in mind. I review inquiries for fit. If the work aligns, we can discuss scope, approach, timing, and investment.

Submitting an inquiry does not commit you to an engagement.
